The “Villages of Daybreak” housing development will feature approximately 300 single family and condominium homes over the next five years. The 60 acre tract of land called the “Villages of Daybreak” is owned by Allen Temple + Tryed Stone Development LTD.
The Villages of Daybreak is a faith based initiative. The Allen AME Real Estate Foundation and the Tryed Stone New Beginning Church formed a partnership and developed a comprehensive plan for repositioning Huntington Meadows and Jordan Crossing, two properties central to the revitalization of the Bond Hill/Roselawn neighborhoods.

With a grant and technical assistance from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) the two organizations developed a land plan for the properties. The churches analyzed redevelopment scenarios and decided that the best redevelopment option was single family housing.
The Villages of Daybreak development along with the redevelopment of Jordan Crossing, Woodward High School will create a vibrant Neighborhood Center for Bond Hill. Planned collaboration to leverage assets will insure a coordinated development that will benefit the entire neighborhood.
